About the Standard Self Drive Desert Safari
If you have your own car or a rental, this is the most affordable way to do an evening desert safari. We send you the map location of the meeting point, where there is proper parking, and the programme runs from about 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM (give or take an hour depending on sunset).
From the meeting point you join 15–20 minutes of dune bashing, a camel ride and sandboarding, then the desert camp with Arabian costumes, henna, unlimited soft drinks, tea and coffee, Tanura, fire and belly dance shows and a vegetarian and non-vegetarian BBQ buffet. There is no hotel transfer on this package.

- Wear light, comfortable clothes and closed shoes. Bring sunglasses and sunscreen, and a light jacket for winter evenings (see our guide on what to wear).
- Families are welcome. Young children, elderly guests and pregnant travellers may be advised to skip dune bashing; ask us and we will suggest an alternative.

No. Self drive packages do not include pickup or drop-off: you drive your own car to our meeting point, and we send you the map location on WhatsApp. There is parking at the meeting point.

Yes, AED 40 per person.
Can I cancel?
Yes, free of charge up to 24 hours before your safari starts. Message us on WhatsApp to cancel or change your date.
How do I book?

Can children join?
